The big crunch

Today we had the Big Crunch.The purpose of  the Big Crunch was to promote healthy eating.At the big crunch every one in the school got an apple and we all took a bite at the same time.

Today  we  are  gowing  to  craft club.  Today we watched a Justin Bieber movie to celebrate resiliency.  We also wore blue today to celebrate resiliency day.  We started Freckle Juice.  And it was good.

Today is Valentines Day. we all had boxes for are valentines. In the afternoon we handed out the valentines.At the end of the day we had snacks.

A kid  named Marcus brought a lego set . It was an underground lair .It had potion bottles and cameras all around so he can watch every thing and he has a pet cat.  Marcus let pepel play with it at the first recess and lunch recess.

The Life and Times of the 3B Superstars

On Friday it was Austin's birthday.  Everyone in the class went to the office and wished him a happy birthday over the intercom. 

We had Subway for hot lunch.  It was delicious.  Most students in our class ordered the pizza sub.  After we were done eating we headed to the gym to celebrate our arrival in China.  Popping the balloons was very noisey, but we had lots of fun. 

In the afternoon we read about Tunisia in our Social Textbooks.  Afterwards we had to write questions and answers from our reading for Miss Willford to make into a crossword puzzle.  We only had to write one question but some people wrote 8!  Miss Willford said that the students did a good job creating their questions.

Today was Ziqi's last day at school before flying back to China for a visit.  She is lucky, she gets to be there for Chinese New Year.

Gymnastics in Gym

In gym we are learning gymnastics. That means we are learning stunts and I mean really cool stunts!  These include head stands, cartwheels, leaping and crawling.  Stay tuned for what we learn next.

Students Report Cards Go Home

On friday, JAN, 21,2011 Students report cards are going home. We got a classroom camera from our recycling money. We are already taking pictures of our students. We also learned some multiplication today.

The Walk,More Mystery Sounds and Marcus's Cat

Today everybody walked a total of 6922 laps. It was hard work walking that much laps but it was fun walking with your stuffies! This afternoon we did more mystery sounds 4 more more kids did more sounds it was fun guessing them.Marcus brought his cat named Tuffy he was really cute. Tuffy also bit Miss.Hiebert sweater.

This afternoon we coloured a picture of Jiminy Cricket for a bulletin board near the office. It was fun colouring pictures of Jiminy Cricket. At the assembly we leared about not stealing,dont go in houses that are empty and telling a teacher when someone is getting bulled. Tommorow we will be walking to He Nan,China in the gym

Snow Day!

Today at school there was only 7 out of 19 students in our class.  Since we had so many students away we watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid with the 3C Superstars.  From this movie we learned that you should treat others nicely.  This fits with the golden rule which was our school virtue in September and October.  Since the weather was not very nice outside we spent all of our recesses inside.  Miss Willford was very impressed with how respectfully we played with each other.
